It was our first time dining at Church and State and we all enjoyed the experience. We reserved a table outside, which I am so happy we did because the indoor eating area was so loud I wouldn't have been able to hear conversation at...More

Sorry to say, but we were disappointed with this place. First we come from Laguna Beach so we are used to high priced food, but for what we got this food was way overpriced. I ordered the lamb, which was tender and in good taste,...More

I had dinner here with my niece. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere and service was very good. Our server was friendly, attentive and offered some great recommendations. The lamb shank and escargots were delicious! We both truly enjoyed it!

Delicious french food. The deviled eggs was amazing and so was the pork belly. Everything we ordered was good.

Simple and delicious bistro fare, the escargot en croute, served in 6 small ramekins is super delicious, the oysters fresh, the desserts (they've kept their classics over the years so each dessert offered has been tested and a success); I loved the bouillabaisse (a modern...More

We had an early dinner with friends after a Saturday matinee downtown. The food was excellent; two of us had the magret de canard, and Jean-Claud commented that it was the best duck he'd ever had. For myself, I'm not sure it was the best,...More
