If you crave meat of any kind, this place is so well prepared to satisfy that fix you will not be disappointed. I don't eat meat often, so like an excellent place when I do. This smells great, tastes great, has good sized (read: large)portions. Well done, Spring Street Smokehouse!!

The smoked meats here were top-notch. No complaints. I would like to go there again. They had quite extensive choice of beer.

After spending the day at the Women's March, losing my sweetie in the crowd, it ended well, thanks to Spring Street Smokehouse. All was forgiven. The ambiance was pleasant and friendly. Seats at the bar were available, bartender was pleasant and accommodating. It is a small neighborhood type of restaurant. The meal was tasty and the patrons were friendly. Looking... More

One would not think that amidst the skyscrapers of downtown Los Angeles, you would find a place serving some of the best BBQ in the country. This quaint little gem is located on a run-down street with very little parking to speak of. Don't drive by, find parking on the street and bring your appetite. A friend of mine told... More

No parking , try for street or a nearby lot. Food is very good. Very small place, so go off peak hours. Everything is good.

My wife and I had arrived at Union Station and we were looking for some place to eat. We wandered around the area and came across this place. The menu is posted outside so you can check it out prior to going in. It is fairly small and since it was lunch time it was busy. We were seated right... More

Visited here after a few recommendations from locals. It's an ok BBQ place but not amazing. Their BBQ sauce is a bit too vinegary though but I can't fault the quality of the meat that we had. It's good for downtown LA and worth a visit.

Strolled in as we visited Olvera Street in downtown. All was excellent here. Good beer selection, but the food was simply superb.

I went to this place per recommendation of a Yahoo article. I had a pulled pork sandwich, which was very good, but 'The Specialty' was absolutely amazing! It is a bacon wrapped chicken thigh that is stuffed with cheese, onions and peppers, then smoked. It was the best chicken dish I have ever tasted! Anywhere. Their french fries are the... More
