We met family here for lunch. Beautiful view of the ocean. Nice menu, friendly staff. If we are ever in the Long Beach area again we would stop here for lunch.

Claire's Cafe is in the Long Beach Art Museum. They have indoor seating and a lovely, spacious patio overlooking the ocean and beach below the museum. The food was excellent, not only presented well, but tasty. They have a great wine list and quite the interesting special drink list. The service was superior to what you would expect in eating... Located at the Museum, this place is open limited hours so check ahead. The food is outstanding and the Bloody Marys are the best, Almost a meal in themselves. The view overlooking the oceans edge. Parking is curbside or a few doors down next to the museum. The French Toast Creme Brulee was excellent covered with apples, golden raisin and... More

you cannot beat the view at Claire's, their service and menu offerings are excellent. In the summer, be sure to eat on the patio to enjoy the ocean air and sunshine. Brunch on the weekend is popular so get a reservation.

Make reservations! our estimated 45 min wait was nearly 1.5 hours. Service ok but clearly understaffed. Many tables near us were occupied by post meal conversing folks...still there when we left 1.5 hours later. Good beer choices, excellent fish and chips, better than average BLT (included salmon and avocado on a so-so hamburger style bun). Would be great if you... More

We went here on a Sunday so there was quite a wait. They do not accept reservations and are only open Thursdays to Sundays. But with the landscape and the view and the museum itself you would not even feel that you waited in line. We ordered the appetizer "museum work of art", fish and chips and their blackened salmon... We were visiting the museum, Long Beach Museum of Art. It is a popular place so we had to wait an hour, but it passed quickly. While no actually on the beach, it is on a bluff overlooking Long Beach Harbor. The service was good, the food was great, and we followed the meal with a trip through the museum.... More
