I love a great pizza and Picco is worthy! After walking by the outdoor dining area on Magnolia Ave. several times I got a look at the pizzas on diners tables and of course the wonderful aromas and that was enough to prompt my to go order. I ordered the Specialized, that had Hobbs pepperoni and house made fennel sausage and it was phenomenally good! The perfectly chewy crust was delicious and the toppings were generous and flavorful. I have officially found my new go to wood fired pizza when in Marin! Ive been back several times now and it is consistently a delicious take out option, someday I will dine in!

Great vibe, cozy inside..they have casual pizza next door . They combined a bit during Covid. We had ahi and interesting salad ..nice glass of wine. Easy fun neighborhood spot .. weeknights closes by 9 as does perry’s so go earlier if you can and make a reservation on weekends for sure . Walk through redwoods and enjoy the downtown quaint or park behind if driving.. I can see this will be a regular thing :)

We just went there last night with a couple of friends and had a wonderful dinner. The gem salad was fantastic large and easy to share. The ink pasta with shrimp delicious. Fun comfortable place to enjoy dinner or celebration with family or friends.

We dined here on 9/24 at 7 pm with a party of 4. Food was amazing. Ambiance too dark. Could barely see each other. Service the worst I’ve had in a long time. The older woman who works there really shouldn’t work in a service industry. She splashed water on me without apologizing when first pouring us water. I thought something dropped on me from the ceiling and she cheerfully said “oh I must have splashed you”…..and throughout the meal, she almost knocked stuff over multiple times. Later she spilled beer and wine all over my partner’s father and barely apologized. His clothes were soaked and his phone and car key got wet. Despite all these mishaps, not a single thing was comped even though they spilled all over the poor man and the table. It was also my partner’s stepmom’s birthday and again no free dessert, nothing. I’ve never eaten somewhere where there is such a huge mishap and nothing is comped. You should at least offer to cover dry cleaning!!! More on the awful waitress: she talked my partner’s mom into not getting the risotto because it would take too long to come out. Then it took forever for them to bring out any entrees and she could have gotten it after all. I repeat: this woman really needs to not work in service. She also never repeated back any orders after we placed them. Her attitude sucked too. Maybe she had a bad day but holy hell. At these prices, service needs to be better. It’s a shame that a place like this doesn’t have better service because it ruins the experience…

When we arrived we were put into a side room which had no atmosphere. We had two young kids with us and the waiter did not advise us on kids menu or any options for them, we had to drag this information out of him. The meal itself was average and quite expensive. There was no Parmesan cheese or black pepper offered which you normally get at an Italian restaurant. I really got annoyed at waiters coming and removing plates from the table while people were still eating, in my opinion and experiences of other restaurants you should wait until the last person has finished before clearing anything away.

It was a very good place to eat before the COVID-19. The chef left. It is a new one. Now, it is more expensive but the food is very average. What happened to the tuna tartare ? It was delicious. Now, the taste is not very good. Every time I told my friends that it was the best place in Marin. Now, don't go, It doesn't worth the money. It is sad. Bye bye PICCO !!!

Am very turned off by their notice on their page that they will pass 6.25% on to you because of "government mandates", which is another way of blaming the customers for wanting businesses to pay fair wages, have the kitchen inspected, etc. These should be the very lowest basics, not something for which we have to pay a premium as if to punish us for wanting consumer protections.

overall A+: Lovely local place, food amazing, service amazing given the busy dog and child-filled scene, sat outside in sunshine: halibut ceviche, filet mignon carpaccio, snap peas, kona pineapple jalapeno onion pizza, bourbon and gin cocktails. Daily specials are fantastic; highly recommend.

I mean… it’s alright, like, overrated as flip. The line and wait is FOREVER, and it’s always freezing cold to wait during dinner. The service is very nice, but the scenery could use some work

We stop care often for carryout pizza. At part of the restaurant is connected with the main restaurant. We usually order pizza and salads. The pizza is a thin crust perfectly done pie with a creative selection with fresh produce and meats and seafood. Salads particularly the Caesar salad are also quite good. Someday will try the main restaurant

Picco has been nailing it for years in Marin. The food is outstanding, service attentive and cocktails creative. We eat out often and Picco is clearly among the best Marin has to offer.

Have dined here with friends at the bar each time. We shared a number of items and found the atmosphere very lively and fun. We had the tuna tartare, bruschetta, grilled octopus tostadas and mini burgers that we shared. All good. Found the wines surprisingly pricey since we so close to wine country.

Met friends at Picco for dinner. The presentation and flavors were complex and the service was good. Overall, I’m not sure we’d go back for a number of reasons: one diner had soup that was tepid not hot. Many of the dishes were very spicy without any indication on the menu that we were getting a spicy dish. The TripAdvisor listing says vegetarian friendly but really entrée options for a vegetarian are extremely limited. The amounts are small for the prices. The wine list is also limited and overpriced. The only California Chardonnay was $18 a glass. We are in California, I don’t pay $18 for a bottle much less a glass.

We have visited this restaurant a couple of times before and liked it. This time we thought it was good but not great. We ordered risotto, fried chicken, and baked chicken all of which were good but just not great. In the fried green tomatoes appetizer dish you had to hunt for the tomatoes in a mess of greens. Cocktails were good but were mostly bourbon based. The biggest disappointment was how noisy it was. It was hard to keep up conversation and we were exhausted afterwards. The wait staff was attentive and nice, even though the restaurant was super crowded.
