This was my first stop on a mini-food crawl that I perpetrated across Larkspur Landing. It looks inviting, fun decor, lots of seating, primarily outside. I tried a chicken tinga taco, and a shrimp taco. Both come with soft sheels. The tinga had sort of...More

Everything I have every ordered here is fresh and delicious. It's an upscale taqueria but still relatively inexpensive for Marin. Casual outside in the courtyard is great for people- watching ... it's my go to drop-in lunch place.

Great Mexican food! This is more of the Mexico City style food. It is authentic and delicious! I like the aguas frescas, water with fruit to drink. Soups are great but my favorite is their Mexican breakfast. Huevos divorciados. For lunch I like soft tortilla...More

We were in town for a wedding; staying at the courtyard Marriott Larkspur. Heard great things from the people we were with so walked across the street and tried it for breakfast. We ate outdoors because it was a gorgeous day and we had the...More

the menu on the board is a bit hard to follow. when given a choice of chicken or beef. I chose beef. I got chicken. The prices are low. The enchiladas look nothing like I have ever seen before. They give you a lot of food,...More

If you are looking for fish tacos, this is the place to go! They are delicious, and their sauce bar is excellent (whatever that orange sauce is). We've gone to this place as a couple and with up to 12 people. It can get very...More

Tacos and enchiladas are very tasty. Not unique but subtlety different from the usual Mexican menu. Maybe their spices and salsa ingredients. Anyway, order what sounds and looks good. We were not disappointed. One taco is fine for small appetite but we had two chicken...More

The restaurant is a welcome break from the standard taco and burrito fare in so many Americanized places, reminded me of places I've eaten at in Guadalajara. The gorditas are a guilty pleasure.

If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would. If you love Mexican food, do not hesitate to eat here! There was a band playing outside which provided great ambience. The tacos were superb the quesadillas were amazing! Everything was just fantastic....More

Description
This is a simple and delicious restaurant serving Mexico City street food--the food is fresh, quickly but carefully prepared. It's located close to the Larkspur Ferry Terminal (where the San Francisco ferries come in as well as close to a movie theater. (Here is the review I wanted to post: This was our third time eating in this restaurant--and we have really enjoyed it every time. Previously I've really enjoyed salads, which featured super fresh ingredients and tasty dressings. I've also enjoyed the chicken mole--the mole was savory without the bitterness that sometimes happens with mole. Tonight I had a hurache with a pollo asada topping--it was delicious! The prices are a little high but the quality of the food leaves me with the sense that it's money well spent! Thanks for considering this restaurant--I wanted to share this gem!
