Great BBQ ribs and beans are also very good. Staff is very friendly. House wine not very good but 22 Oz beer was.

Located in the Orchard Shopping Center, less than a quarter mile from the I-5 intersection with El Toro Road, the pricey, slow service, so-called “smokehouse” LUCILLE’S offers the California version of BBQ (slow grilled), but people who have not been to Texas, Kansas or South Carolina to eat real BBQ still enjoy their offerings. The place is popular. For me,... More
The overall ambiance and environment is outstanding. You can smell the smoke when you enter the restaurant. We been here a few times and have learned to avoid 'rush hour' and typically dine during 'off-peak' hours to avoid long waits. Everything we have tried (ribs, burnt ends, chicken, pork, various sides) has been well prepared and has very good flavor.... More
We had a reservation for our family of 13, our table was ready when we got there. Our server was amazing!! Food was served quickly and efficiently. We got the family feast, soooooo much food and everyone was happy which was amazing! (Grandchildren ranging in age from 2 to 15 including normally picky eaters!) Always a win at Lucilles!
If you are craving ribs... this is the place to go! My husband and I ordered the a full rack of Ribs to shares which is plenty to share!!! Their biscuits are great, so you never leave hungry!! We will definitely be returning soon!
I am now going to this place for the third time. The baby back ribs were astounding, meaty, tender, moist. They have a Gluten free menu with several BBQ options, there sauce is GF. However, they do have a Gluten free "Sandwiches and Burgers" section and I don't think they have a GF bun. Nobody wants a bread-less sandwich. This would be a good place to go with small children as it is a loud place.
Lucille has the best short ribs in town. Period. Make sure to try the fried pickles as well. The tenderest, meatiest little pork ribs, slow-cooked with sweet hickory smoke, then grilled and basted with our special BBQ sauce.
