Employee at our vacation property suggested this little gem to us. Not a tourist stop and it was obvious it was a place for locals, and we saw many people running into each other from the neighborhood to say hello. Super duper inexpensive, like $2.50 for nicely sized tacos. Steak, pork and shrimp - all nice. Wife had some great... More

Was recommended by the owner of the Art Hotel as an excellent, authentic, family run cafe. Ordered a carne asada and a shrimp soft shell taco. Both were excellent! Would definitely eat there again.

My wife and I had dinner there for her birthday. She ordered the Carnitas plate and I ordered the California Burrito with Carne Asada. I must admit that was the first time I ever had a Carne Asada burrito with french fries in it but it tasted fine, with great flavor. The only thing that would have improved it, is... More

I found this reviewed highly online, so I went there. It's a little hole-in-the-wall (right next to a mortuary)... so meh. BUT OMG! DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! I had both the nachos and the pollo asada burrito.... the quality of each ingredient shows a love for the food. The tastes were out of this world. It's very inexpensive and... More

The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. The gentleman went out of his way to change our order to take out when we asked. Good food, good price.

Adolpho's cook's with a wonderful Sonoran influence of flavor. Shredded beef soft tacos on corn tortillas is so good. Everything on the menu is, and they have a good salsa bar. They are located close to the Village, but just outside it. This is a benefit because during art festival season it is easier to access then some of the... More

I work in San Clemente and finally decided to try Adolfo's. I got a carne asada taco and a carne asada quesadilla. The taco was stuffed with guacamole, salsa and a ton of asada, it was delicious! the quesadilla was ok, I will order it with guacamole and sour cream next time. I will be heading back to try their... Adolfo's is a pretty inexpensive place for Mexican food. In all honesty, the food was average to good but the service was great. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed ourselves. It was worth the stop.

Thank slaughterpj
