We stopped in for dinner after going to Sea World, and before heading home to OC. We have been going to Fins for years. They have great fish tacos and their Shrimp Burritos are great also.

I do not visit Fins too often,(Not a huge fan of Mexican food), but when I have been there the food is quite adequate. They have a day of the week when they have certain tacos on sale. The shrimp taco was very good when I tried it. Extremely casual eatery. Lots of students on a budget seem to eat... More

Fins used to be quite good a few years back, now it's a bit more average. It used to beat Rubio's hands down, but now Rubio's evolved while Fins remained about the same and that didn't do it much good. It's still nice, but you can drive across the road to Rubio's for better food. The lobster taco is still... More

Great fresh seafood tacos and burritos for a really funny price for La Jolla! It is not a place for a fancy dinner, but for just having a good quality food for an excellent price it could not be better!

You would do yourself a disservice if you didn't stop here. Right across from the San Diego LDS Temple in a shopping center. My wife had the nachos which were fresh and delicious. Btw, none of their food has lard. I had the regular fish tacos and the ones with guacamole and cheese. Get those!! They were the bomb!!! They... More

Lobster taco was delicious once i put some lime and salsa verde on it. The Surf and turf burrito was loaded with shrimp. The guac was fresh but not the best I've ever had.

Had the La Jolla combination (shrimp taco and shrimp burrito). The shrimp was lightly battered. Very good. The side of refried beans were the best I have ever had. Will definitely visit again.

I happened by and saw the good reviews. I had need craving good chips and guacamole all week. Didn't disappoint! Chips were lightly seasoned and freshly made. Fish tacos were great too!

Many items to choose from and never had a less than enjoyable meal. Shrimp taco or burrito has just the right size of shrimp -- not small as I've experienced at other places. Beans and salsas are right on. Friendly staff - order at counter -- food is brought to you. Especially busy during lunch hour. Few tables out front.... More

I found this thanks to asking Siri for a taco place, and was delighted with the quality and taste of the food. The lobster tacos were delicious! Chicken tacos and salsa bar were tasty too. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and is clean. Prices were reasonable. This was a great find after a long day of sightseeing in San... More
