Stopped at this small road side plaza where the food was "Just Great". Sliders w/grilled onions, BBBLT (loaded w/bacon, and fork burger. Great tasting food period!

Casual dining. I had the bbbt which is a bacon sandwich. It was good. Lots of bacon. The mac salad was tasty. I saw the Prato wedges and they looked very good. The person with me had the special which was meatloaf that was smoked. Very good he said. The garlic mashed potatoes were good tasting. Would eat here again

You can tell a place is special when you see it crowded by locals - kids, oldies, couples... Once i bit into the salad + salmon i understood why. The taste was just so, everything fit perfectly. If you are lucky to get a seat, you can't go wrong with this hole-in-the wall. Better - much better - than many... More

My mom and I stopped in here for a quick dinner. Fast, friendly service and good food! My mom had the pork quesadilla, I had chicken tacos and we split some grilled veggies. Portions were just the right size. The flavors of the food were great!! The only potential downside was there isn't a lot of seating in the restaurant... More

Friday night entertainment by local musicians. Some individule tables and several large tables with benches. Great way to meet new friends when seated at the large tables. The food is presented as the unusual burgers and fries however they contain very unusual mix of flavors. The BLT is the best in San Diego and a total meal by itself. Great... More

Who'd have thought that such a tiny hole in the wall could crank out such delicious food?!? At first glance it looks like an unassuming divey bar and we never would have set foot in had it not been for the glowing reviews. Though the name did intrigue! We happened into Happy hour where there was half off.of wines (incl.... More

Great hole in the wall. Had the chicken sandwich and Jalapeno poppers. Just like you'd make at home.

Make no mistake this place is small BUT awesome the atmosphere is light and cheery the people friendly but most of all the food brings you back time and time again from the grilled salads to the burgers they're isn't a bad choice in the place.

It's a caterer, but more known as a walk-in place where the simple, unadorned counter/stool seating is generally well-filled with the kind of people who could easily afford to eat in more expensive places in La Jolla. They have an order window, with a view of the grill area. I have never had anything but the sandwiches... and consider them... More
