Prices are not bad. We ordered a bottle of wine and dinner for under $60, The food was not great. I has the average trout, probably better to order meat as it is a steak place. Salads are big but all lettuce and restaurant made croutons to put on. It was a very old looking place and was busy when... More

We always eat here one night when we are in June Lake, good food, nice ambiance and very cozy. They have prime rib specials every now and then and the king crab legs are great. Its a nice date night place.

I used to really like this place, but it's under new management now and boy has it changed! The waitress was overbearing and loud, certainly not appropriate for this place. We ordered 3 steaks medium and they were all rare. Our young adults had the ribs which were swimming in sauce. No substitutions allowed for dietary restrictions. Waited over an... More

Great and friendly wait staff. The restaurant is a couple miles past downtown and the June Mountain Ski Resort. You will find the June Lake Loop one beautiful valley carved by glacier millions of years ago.

I was in Lee Vining, no place to eat so I took a drive to Carson Peak Inn and was amazed by the hospitality and taste. The other people in the place was very nice and talkative. Nice country atmosphere, pine knotted walls, true feeling that I was in a cabin then a Inn. I ordered a Top Sirloin and... More

Every year we go to June Lake, we always go to the Carson Peak Inn for a wonderful dinner. This we went twice, the food is that good. The ambience is that of outdoors, fishing, but quiet and memorable. Servers Dave and Sarah were excellent and you cannot leave feeling hungry. Large portions of steak, pork chops and seafood all... David (Dave) was our server and was just the best ever. Too bad the food was lacking. Atmosphere: The restaurant is on the June Lake loop and slightly hidden off the highway. The interior was warm and cozy with a wood burning fire place. The decor is Hunting Lodge style and quite nice. Food: The dinner salad was excellent. It... More

This is a place that is a throw back in time with a great menu. Steaks are a must here, but many other items, you can not go wrong here

Had a wonderful dinner last night! Had trout and shrimp! Both were delicious! The best part of the the meal was our server Bill. He was so attentive! He is a local and knows a lot about hiking in the area. Was a delight to talk with him! Would definitely go back!

We walked into an empty restaurant and was asked if we have a reservation. No. So after standing there for 15-20 min. the guy asked would you like to see a wine menu? WTH? I responded no sir we would actually like to sit down unless you are to busy. So 10 min. later we were sat. The food was... More
