The Joshua Tree Park Rock Cafe is without a doubt the very best little coffee shop in town. Right next door to the National Park Visitors Center in Joshua Tree village, it is perfect for an espresso, cappuccino or a great sandwich to eat here or to take away. They have special offers with a sandwich, fruit and beverage to... More

After realizing that we would be driving and hiking thru the Joshua Tree Park for about 4.5 hours. We decided to get a picnic lunch. The Cafe was conveniently located right next to the Joshua Tree Visitor Center. The selections were very nice. We selected the cranberry turkey sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich. Both were good and we got... More

Ordered "today's special" avocado stuffed with chicken and chicken and red pepper panini only to be told that "we don't have red peppers today. And chicken. We don't have chicken today. And avocado. We don't have avocado today." Then our server swore in frustration. At all that point we got a refund and left.

January 6, 2016 - The Park Rock Cafe is adjacent to the Joshua Tree National Park visitors center which makes it very convenient for an early lunch quiche and a take out box lunch. After listening to the morning Ranger presentation about Joshua Tree, we stopped in the Cafe. We found the atmosphere casual and welcoming; the food good; and... More

We stopped by there with four young boys and three adults after visiting the park. They were accommodating to young children. The food is pretty basic and the sandwiches were average and not loaded. No large deli sandwiches here. It's a mom on a budget size sandwich. The establishment was clean and so were the bathrooms so there is a... More

Several years ago there was a dynamite cook who loved her job. She would sauté the vegetables before adding them to a nice thick omelet, Sadly, she is gone. The sign on the wall tells it all "new menu". With only a single burner stove, the current cook can only produce one egg dish at a time, throwing the raw... More

I had a tuna sandwich and lentil soup. It was good. My friend had the Health nut cold sandwich. Without any problems we cleared our plates. Tasty and fresh! We were visiting her son in the Marines. Great place for lunch.
