The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. The kids ate up their lunch. The food for the adults was marginal for the price. The flavor was great, but the rice wasn't cooked enough I am sorry to say. I really wanted to give this historic feeling establishment more points! Great job servers, now let's get the kitchen staff up... More

My wife and I have been coming here for dinner for over 20 years, driving for an hour each way. We have had memorable dinners/experiences here, great food and service. But it has been declining. This past weekend had dinner here before theater in Sonora. Both us ordered steak. I ordered medium to medium-rear ribeye steak and it was thin,... More

My wife and I were in town to visit relatives. When we walked into the restaurant, we looked around and were amazed as to how beautiful it was. We were greeted by very friendly staff and taken to our table. Our waiter was fabulous. He delightfully explained the answers to our questions. His service was impeccable. Needless to say, he... It's been awhile since I've eaten at The Willow. Yesterday I ordered fish and chips and it was horrible. The batter was soggy with grease and the fish hard to find. The staff was very friendly and attentive, but won't be going back.

My mom and I drove up from Modesto to have a nice lunch with my Aunt and Cousin who are locals in Jamestown. The atmosphere at our booth was very nice in this historic hotel. We enjoyed the wallpaper and the tall ceilings. The service was good. I had a delicious Cobb salad. The half order was more than enough.... More

If you're looking for a really neat historical place to have a good steak, this is it. They have a really good fondue for cheap. I've had their steaks which are good, but my favorite is the Chicken piccata. Probably the best piccata in the area. Even a friend of mine agreed it's the best. And...attached to the restaurant is... The Willow Steakhouse & Seafood Grill epitomizes a saloon from the old west. The original hotel on the Corner of Main St. & Willow was built in 1862. There is a history of fires, & it is said to be haunted. I admired the rare antique high-back booths that afforded privacy & the floral wallpaper that was period perfect. There... More

We had mixed feelings about The Willow. We were in the area over the Thanksgiving weekend and chose The Willow for Thanksgiving Dinner. We had a very nice meal. It was well prepared, tasted wonderful, and the service was great. Four days later we returned for a quiet dinner. While there was nothing really bad about our food, there was... More
