Busy hidden little gem that did not disappoint. We were there on Sunday around 6:30 & the people just kept coming. Had to wait about 25 minutes, but it was well worth it. I had the chicken Quesadilla & my husband the chicken Burrito Supreme (Ranchero). Both were excellent. Food came hot & well presented. Friendly & efficient waiter. Fun... More

Passed through here as we came out of Joshua Tree National Park. It was Saturday night so we had a bit of a wait. The place was packed (it's not very big), but we opted to get drinks from the bar and hang out. It was worth it! The menu had some nice variations from regular Mexican. I had fajitas,... More

Our meal was the kind of mid quality, dependable white-washed Mexican food that pleases lots of American palates. Excellent hot chips but lackluster salsa. A margarita served in a lovely blue-rimmed handblown glass, but made from an overly sweet artificial tasting mix. The garlic sauce on the shrimp was tasteless and the Mexican rice was bland as well. The only... More

Since we were visiting the area and this Mexican restaurant was recommended, we decided to try it. We enjoyed the food, everything was tasty. Yes, the salsa is one of the best I've ever tried.

We've had lunch at Pueblo several times. All the items on the menu we have had were very good. The corn tamale is my favorite though. I order the skinny margaritas with no Agave, add triple sec or controy. Excellent!

Every meal we have had here is good. Each time our group comes we order something different and have never been disappointed. Service is great and menu has numerous items to satisfy everyone.

Our recent visitors from the East Coast really enjoyed our dinner at the Cook Street location. The variety of food and service was really good. We will be back. The Mango Margarita is a real winner.

Love the tamarind margaritas. The chile verde is still incredibly tender and flavourful. Sadly the carnita tacos were so dried out as to be inedible! The shrimp ceviche tostadas were mediocre. So avoid the happy hour menu, and just enjoy the drinks.

We don't live nearby, but if we want Mexican food we go there. They are always busy and don't take reservations unless it's for large parties. So be prepared to wait. The drinks are good, and with a good pour, the chips/salsa are really good. The staff is always on top of it and incredibly friendly.
