We stayed at Montes for 3 days in October and had a fantastic time. Beautiful views, lovely sunsets & sunrises. The ocean right on your door step. Restaurant and Bar was still closed for renovations but that was okay we were advised up front. The...More

Thanks Annette. Glad you enjoyed our special location. Hope we'll see you again when we can offer you some more hospitality when the bar and restaurant reopen.

New management. Don’t bother. Absolutely zero service. No signage to show non operational bar and restaurant, no access to site, no service to even answer the phone in the office. No response from management. Absolute waste of time.

Definetly the best place to have a lunch in Whitsundays! As they say, hidden gem in the Whitsundays. It is possible to swim or fish, also you can arrive by boat, car or helicopter. A perfect way to enjoy the afternoon.

A bit of the beaten track but worth the trip. The view from the restaurant was memorising, right on the beach. We shared a seafood plate and a calamari plate which tasted so fresh and cooked to perfection. What a great way to enjoy an...More

Yes, I would agree, its probably best to rent a car for 24 hours and then use it to do other sightseeing if you want for the balance of the time. Just be aware you are not 'supposed' to go on gravel roads. Part of the way... More

We only visited the restaurant not the resort so you will need to ask them directly.
