What a great place with atmosphere and environment from the Old West with taxidermied stuffed animals and artifacts and decorations you'd find in some saloon of long ago. I had the softest, most succulent filet mignon ever, cooked to perfection, soft and melted on the...More

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express beside AJ Spurs and I asked at reception what it was like and I was told it was great. We left our luggage in our room and walked over. It looks impressive outside with an old stagecoach on...More

The atmosphere is great at AJ Spurs, lots to look at and clean. The service is average. The food is average for a steak house, but the food is expensive. They offer a big meal including; soup, bread, your main entree and a dessert. No...More

I was a bit miffed that the restaurant wouldn't seat six of us while we waited on the other four but I guess they amy have been burnt by groups that made reservations and then shrunk. The $10 house margarita I purchased in the bar...More

Back in time I must say. Quite an experience but a good one. With all the menu you will get a typical "cowboy" soup presented like it was just done in a campfire. Included as well is salad, garlic bread, potatoes or rice or both...More

Brought my sister and her husband here. Soup was very tasty. Salad was not great. My New York steak was just ok - a little to well done and somewhat tough. My brother-in-law seemed to enjoy the spare ribs. Meals came with rice and potatoes...More

We are regulars here. The service is outstanding. They bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. Even though a little pricey, they are reasonable for a high quality steakhouse. Plus, you get soup and salad with most entrees. The steaks are always just...More
