We always have had a great breakfast here. The place is always packed and the portions are large. I like the avocado bacon omelette, but the menu is huge and the service quick and friendly.

They offer what you expect a diner would - good breakfast at fair prices. The atmosphere is great - bright and light and '50's. It also is not loud like many of the other restaurants in town. Service is great. Very welcoming when you walk...More

We have been enjoying the food and service at Penny's Diner for some time now and I have not written a review before. I check reviews before I go to new places and felt that Penny's deserved to have people know about our customer feedback....More
My wife and I travel to Grass Valley once or twice a year and have done so for the last 20 years. During that time we have watched many restaurants come and go and have tried almost all of them for breakfast. The good news...More
