Cold mushy burgers tonight. Be awhile until we try again. Have been good in past but although service is good the foods gone downhill.

Eat there from time to time. Their portions are large, but not as tasty as you’d expect. Not bad but not as tasty. They make their own root beer, which is a unique treat.

The Big A Root Beer Drive In was originally the A & W Root Beer Drive In in the 1960's including carhops. Frosty root beer is still served as well as mouth watering burgers, sandwiches and fries. A fun, friendly family atmosphere. Nice variety.

Fast counter service. Good menu. Good parking outside. Eating inside or in your car. If you do not eat red meat, you do not want to go there. Good Rootbeer and other soft drinks.

A staple of grass valley for a long time. The food is great and people working there are very friendly. The menu is pretty large something for everyone. A must try.

Don’t confuse the retro root beer stand look for having the food you might have found at an A&W of years past (except for the awesome root beer still served). This place serves up delicious food at great prices and with a smile from the...More

Actually a bit disappointed since our last trip here. Prices had gone up but quality and taste was not as good as before. Still a good burger and a fun place to order from your car...just like the old days!

Way more than a hamburger joint! They have a full menu and the food is great for a drive-in. Sit in your car old-style if you would like. They will serve you. Or go inside and get a good meal. The French fries are very...More
