My aunt just turned 96 years old, and so a special cake (especially considering how we've all missed each other over the last couple of years) was mandatory. Her chocolate raspberry cake was excellent- and beautiful. Thank you!
As expected, great food, service and clean local. I would love to have this in Chicago. Cubano sandwitch, Medianoche sandwitch and Pollo al Plato. Our food was hot, tasty and 100% satisfyingMore

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 can eat entire box! Cheese rolls are buttery with just a hint of sweetness outside and the inside is more savory. Guava cheese rolls weren’t as consistent where the filling is only on half of the pastry.
Ambience: 4/5 organized chaos. Signs on...where to go but people walking everywhere. Menu always has nice fonts
Service: 5/5 quick and to the point. No small talk which is understandable for the number of customers
Value for price: 5/5 price has gone up a little but worth every cent. Since it’s a chain bakery, they can afford to be cheaper due to amount of sales.More
This place was recommended by a dear friend because she knows I'm Cuban Andy dad was a pastry chef, so I compare all Cuban cuisine to his❤. Porto's is AMAZING! I highly recommend it. We arrived too late for to purchase something. The closing time was 8pm, and they stopped taking orders at 7:30pm. We were kindly greeted by a staff member before we got out of our car (it was a rear access way) who informed us about...the closing time. We already knew from looking online that we were a last minute customer.More

I first tried to order online Porto's at Burbank, on a Saturday, around 1pm and the next available pickup time was 5:30 pm. I don't live in LA and didn't plan on being in the Burbank area for 4 plus hours. Next, I selected Porto's...in Glendale, their next available time was 3:45pm. I was able to order successfully. Received an email food would be ready at 3:45pm, and they did not provide instructions for pickup. Got there early, around 3:20pm, and didn't see any signs, so we parked ($2) and walked up. Was told to drive around back parking lot. Asked how to get there, because I was not familiar with area. Lots of traffic, took approximately 20 min on line in car, was directed to park in the lot and wait. Got our food 10 min later.
Sum of story is may be not worth the time.
Food as always was great.More
