Two of the three meals (burgers) were done to taste....the third, a salad looked like it was prepared with day old wilted lettuce....and pretty much tasted that way. Been to the Summit House many times, but this was by far my worst visit ever.

Beautiful location, excellent reasonably priced food, suggest making a reservation directly, we got an early reservation, but by the time we had finished there were many many people waiting. Semi formal, and wonderful friendly staff

One of my favorite restaurants, period. Home style feel but with elegance. The staff could not be better. The food, though not cheap, well worth every penny! Portions are generous and they will always send you home with some extra cream corn. Don't go home...More

We went for dinner and found people were well dressed. But they seemed an accommodating place that would accept dress shorts.

For centuries the English Inn has earned a great reputation for friendly faces, cozy rooms and cheery firesides. As soon as guests come to the Inn, the charming hosts and hostesses run to greet them. In front of a crackling fire one can partake of good hearty fare - the tankard is always full - the spit hung with roasting beefs - and a table heaped with sweets and such. The Inn Keepers of the Summit House are inspired by this custom to create an hospitable place where friends can meet to eat, drink and delight in the views of North Orange County's countryside. To one and all, welcome!
