I’ve been Eating at Summit House for over 10 years. Great food, great view. Best cream corn I’ve ever had! The prime rib sliders are fantastic. Great for special occasions.

Festive is an understatement when referring to the Summit House during the Holiday Season. Dickensian attired carolers sang "White Christmas" as we dined on Skuna Bay Salmon and Summit House cut (prime rib). Coffee was hot and Devon anticipated needs ---birthday dessert. Gracie! Our family goes once a year and enjoys the holiday season with the restaurant. Getting there early to listen to the piano music being played is a special touch.

They serve very mediocre food but in impressive interiors. You feel very aristocratic there, and it's truly pleasant. The wines are also good. However.... the crab cakes were dry and salty, the mashed potato could have been way tastier, the gravy could have been more...More

You can get an answer by calling the Summit House. I don't have a clue what they do at Christmas time.

We went for dinner and found people were well dressed. But they seemed an accommodating place that would accept dress shorts.

For centuries the English Inn has earned a great reputation for friendly faces, cozy rooms and cheery firesides. As soon as guests come to the Inn, the charming hosts and hostesses run to greet them. In front of a crackling fire one can partake of good hearty fare - the tankard is always full - the spit hung with roasting beefs - and a table heaped with sweets and such. The Inn Keepers of the Summit House are inspired by this custom to create an hospitable place where friends can meet to eat, drink and delight in the views of North Orange County's countryside. To one and all, welcome!
