The biggest concern with going to a chain burger joint is possible deviation from the recipe that made the brand successful. Carl's Jr used to be a solid contributor to chain burger greats. A tragic demise that can likely be rooted in the expulsion of Carl himself, followed by the acquisition of Green Burrito and Hardee's. Initially, the further east... More

Great Burgers fries n milk shakes. But when I got a $50 plus bill I was shocked. Next time Mac Donald's will do.

This may be the best burger, but when they wrap it up, they smash it into an in unappealing mess. There is no reason to take a quality burger and subject it to such harsh treatment. If you are eating in, it should be possible to wrap the burger securely and serve it in an inviting condition. I suspect that... More

I generally don't care for fast food but Five Guys is an exception. They have a limited menu and make your burger to order. I must admit I also like the shelled peanuts. Prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is always bright and clean.

So i'm a usual In&Out person, these two restaurants are literally blocks away in Pacific Commons. I've been eating IO for a long time and never tried Five Guys, but last week, IO was too crowded and we needed the food quick, so we tried 5G. And i must say.. it's pretty good! A quite a bit more expensive than... More

While the In and Out may have the best French fries, Five Guys definitely is on top in the hamburger department. Many free toppings are available and all is fresh cooked.

I'm not a huge red meat fan, but when I'm craving an amazing burger--Five Guys will be my new go-to place. My husband and I split a small burger (which just means that it has one patty which is MORE than enough!) and some cajun fries. The grilled onions and made fresh-to-order mission make their burgers something to dream about!

The burgers make you feel uncomfortable after eating them. They are way over priced. The one up side is that they give you a LOT of fries.
