Artisan organic bread... Nothing better on a cold rainy wintery weekend day in Sonoma County. Freestone is quaint & charming. Wild Flour bakery is like a warm hug on a cold day. The fougasse is to die for... Warm & delicious with cheese & bell pepper filling. Warm gooey sticky bun was amaze too!! GF scones for my partner did... More

This place is a gem with THE best scones and sweet breads! Great owners too. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. They cook everything out of a wood oven and this place is legit! Lines long so be prepared to wait. and ooohh those cinnamon buns!

Wildly popular, generally five or six people waiting to be served at any time in the morning hours. Very personable staff. The bread and pastries are imaginative concoctions, a little heavy and sweet and very large for my taste. We live quite near the bakery and visitors always love getting pastries for breakfast. Good coffee, too.

My family and I stop here every time on the way home from a yearly trip to Bodega, and it never disappoints. The line does move quickly, so don't be deterred even in a slight rush (Though who's rushing in this part of the world? Certainly not me). Staff is super efficient and friendly, and the variety of breads they... More

Artisan bread baked on premises. Things with apricots, goat cheese, and olives - delicious things. You will have a line, it will not be cheap but you will not regret it. Usually there is a small number of sweet things as well - not to be missed.

The line out the door tells it all...we saw the line and like lemmings decided to stop and follow the crowd. Glad we did!! The baked good are delicious. They give samples of everything to try before purchase and they are so large it is almost enough :). But we could not resist taking home a scone, sticky bun, and... More

This bakery has the best rustics breads, scones, biscotti & more. It is worth the wait in line. The staff is friendly & generous with samples. They only take cash.

Located in a small hamlet on the Bohemian Hwy in Sonoma County, Wildflour Bread and Bakery Cafe is worth taking the backroads to the Russian River area. It's just a little out of the way but the scenic drive and the baked bread perfection is well worth the side trip. The open kitchen with large brick oven against the back... More

We have been going to this bakery for years and it never disappoints. The bread is piled on a huge counter with every imaginable combination--olive, rosemary/garlic and other savory options. I am a scone fan and hunt down the best wherever we travel...and these are some of the BEST! There is a beautiful garden on the grounds that adds to... More

We were staying about a mile away and had scones and a sticky bun two mornings in a row. I loved all of the flavors that we tried, but Meyer lemon cherry was my favorite. The place was packed both mornings (about 8:30). Coffee was okay but we had better elsewhere. The sticky bun was enormous. I think it had... More
