I used to go to Daly City for my oriental products. Not anymore, R99 has everything I need. They have a variety of vegetables and fruits and their prices are reasonable.

Just returned from the Ranch 99 food court in Foster City and their take out lunch starts off at $9.10+. I've been going here for years and the cost of the take out lunch has gone from a low $5 to now over $9 for basically the same food. Food is well prepared and tasty and we still buy lunches... More

We came up north to visit my daughter. Overall the food here is much more expensive than Los Angeles 99 ranch market. You can get baby bok Choy sum for $.79/ lb in LA ; here it is $1.29. Bitter melon $.79/lb versus $1.39. I found the Produce to be fresh. The meat counter has smaller selection. The rack of... More

In my neighborhood and my first choice for fresh seafood to cook and a variety of vegetables at reasonable prices. Produce isn't always fully ripe, but it's always fresh and inexpensive. Fish and seafood are quite fresh and of large variety. They will clean and cook it for you too. Not always inexpensive on fish, but certainly far less than... More

Get there early when they put the dim sum out. It can sit a long while. Very good when fresh. Same is true of the buffets good variety, but can be tricky.

The food is very ethnic and the prices are a bit on the high side. The employees are not very helpful.

The prices for dim sum are very reasonable. I would say the quality and tastes could be higher, even at the low prices. I would still go back if I lacked new options. I would have liked to have driven to Good Luck in San Francisco, but it was too far to go.

The supermarket has a good variety of Asian products for those special Asian recipes. Lighting is bad in some of the aisles so reading the small print on the labels can be difficult. Vegetables are usually fresh and nicely priced. I find the "food court" way too expensive. I rather go to Rickshaws on Edgewater where it is cheaper and... More
