Thursday nights are packed with open night mic. where local musicians entertain the crowds. Food ... very limited and bar food. Mostly fried. Salads are ok. Lots of in-fighting between servers. This is the Fallbrook revised version of "Cheers" - not my favorite place. Children running around while adult language in a bar atmosphere is not ok in my world.

Party of 5 plus an infant. The Fried Avocados were The Bomb!!! Tender, light, extremely flavorful and delicious!!! Good variety of food to choose from. Big portions! They had a couple of TVs behind the bard showing sporting events. There were 2 pool tables available to play on. The night we went, there happened to be karaoke going on. Luckily,... More

Warm beer, foam, non-chilled pint glass. Asked the lady behind the bar to remove some of the 2 " foam and she returned w/o foam but a top off of beer, even not cold beer would have been nice. I love Irish Pubs but this place just did not have it. Did not attempt to try the food.

Being to new to Fallbrook, my fiancée and I were looking for a local watering hole to hang out at. MaGee's was the first one spotted from the main road. Parking was easy and fast. I could hear the country music playing from outside and strolled; only to be blown-away by some VERY interesting decor. Eclectic and diverse are two... More

The only reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars is that overall it wasn't a nightmare. Granted it was our first time there and visitors but there was something I just wasn't impressed with the bar. Pasadena has better Irish Pubs! At any rate, I don't think we'll be coming back again. This was my boyfriend's idea. Since he... More

MaGee's (Not McGees) has recently changed ownership as of beginning of September. The menu has changed and the food has gone downhill. It's still a fairly nice bar with a decent beer selection, several TV's with sports playing, but the food is greasy, the selection is limited, and the taste has gone downhill. Too bad. Hopefully the new owner will... More

It's actually Magees and not McGees. I'm new in Fallbrook and have been trying different eating places. I liked Magee's for it's friendly staff, good beer selection, and reasonably good bar food. I hear that the menu has changed recently for the better. Very friendly, local place with several TV's for sports viewing. Not for the kiddies.

Does a lot of bar business with the locals and Marines. So, even during the day, the place smells like spilled old beer. I have never been there at night, although I know they have live music. I'm sure it's fun for lots, just not our thing.
