This family - owned business has been in the area for a number of years, and has continued to provide excellent rotisserie chicken at a reasonable price.

great lunch specials, healthy and wholesome. Chicken cesar salad is huge and they are very generous with the chicken. The best sweet potatoes I ever ate. They are small but so tasty nothing is needed on them saving a lot of fat and calories. I could literally eat here daily (some people do). The soup is delicious and satisfying on... More

We have been going to Chicks for years! It is always very, very good and we like supporting a local restaurant. Eating in is rather spartan but we do it sometimes. Mostly we do take-out. I like the Rice Bowl, hold the rice. My husband does their #1 plate. I highly recommend this local favorite!

A family restaurant that has been in the Encinitas location for many years. Their food is always fresh and homemade. Their menu is rotisserie chicken with great side dishes. My favorite is the half chicken with mashed potatoes and cole slaw or beans. Everything is Great. Their bean soup is homemade every day and they sometimes run out early in... More

Now with more locations to same me the trip to North County if I am in the UTC area. This is the location I am most frequently visiting. After eating here, you will have a hard time getting the rubber chickens offered at Costco, Vons, Stater Bros and the like. Worth the extra cost if you want a truely delicious... More

This is a small family run place that has had the same staff for a LONG time. The chicken is broiled daily and it is fantastic. They offer a bean soup that is homemade and delicious. The dishes are varied and very reasonable. Small inside seating and about half of the food goes out as takeout, but either way this... More

Chick's is an institution! There is no better chicken in San Diego and they make the best bean soup you can buy. If you get there early they have cold chicken very reasonably to use for chicken salads. The hot chicken is broiled to perfection with their own spice recipe. It is terrific for takeout and while the seating is... More

We have been going to Chicks for probably 20 years. The chicken has received numerous reviews. I once brought it home for a large party by getting the healthy rice bowls.

All beautifully prepared spit fired chicken served fresh every day, and with authentic family seasonings. It is truly the best. None of this fast food deep fried garbage; only good, tasty, truly finger licking good chicken.

Stopped in for the lunch special got two sides salad and rice. Rice was slightly undercooked. The chicken was good but a very small amount was given. Three fourths of the to go box was lettuce.
