We were a little concerned when first came in, small, barking dog. We sat in the back, server came right away. Huge beer selection, good menu choices. Had the garlic fries (awesome), cheeseburger w/ bacon (burger was awesome, bacon great taste but a little tough), salad was fantastic (and I'm not a salad guy. Wife had the sourdough (delicious), more... More

We were able to get a table in the back, nice casual atmosphere. Good food and good service. We went for salads, appetizers and beers. The sign says 500 plus beers, I forgot to ask if they have all 500 had one time! We would go back.

Good selection of ales and tasty steak bruschetta, crab cakes and garlic fries. Amelia took good care of us. When we visit North County again, we will certainly consider returning.

This is Encinitas finest ale pub. The selection of ales are grand and the food is good. It has just enough of the old Encinitas vibe to help you remember the good ole days when it was Olyo's but not so much that you only order their very good pizzas. They also have great burgers and don't miss the sweet... More

The beer book (bible) here is like no other! Seriously, the best selection (over 500 beers!) I have ever seen. They specialize in Belgian ales but have something for everything. I was also so impressed that they poured the beers in the actual glassware from each belgian brewery...just like in Belgium! I had the Santana burger and it was THE... More

Nice spot to grab an evening drink or just hang out. Be aware though it is very casual and beer is the primary focus. The bathrooms are outside and down a hallway so very casual again.

If you are looking for a huge selection of beers (on tap plus over 350 bottled varieties), ales and great food then this is the place to go to in SoCal. The kitchen offers daily specials and we tried one of those specials -- a burger which was 1/3 chuck, 1/3 brisket and 1/3 short ribs and it was absolutely... More

We stopped in here for a late lunch one day based on some online recommendations and they were all spot on !! The selection of draft beers is phenomenal and the bartender was exceptional at making recommendations based on my taste desires. The burgers...they are huge, and tasty ! I'd say they are one of the best I've ever had.... More
