Coffee flavored creme brulee and port for my wife. Good local beers on tap. Only bad thing is you have to go outside to get to the bathrooms.

To me, good service is what makes a meal. If the food is delicious, even better. Benito our server made the experience five-star. He was friendly, yet professional. Because of the line of work I'm in (business etiquette) I notice the nuances. They knew when to approach our table, they kept their in-house conversations discreet, and even when things were... When we were there: cold, windy, rainy weather outside...more unique homemade food than you could ever manage to eat on the inside! wonderful bread... Friendly staff, cozy hut...window tables for two are perfect. We ordered chowder, chicken pot pie, and fish and chips...could only eat half of our meals and were able to save the leftovers for an entire lunch... More

We were staying at the Sacred Rock Resort so found it easiest to grab dinner in their Pub. As with everything else we were experiencing at the Resort the Pub did not disappoint us. Most of the tables were full with locals and others staying at the resort. The menu was diverse enough to provide good options; a full bar... More

Nice crowd on a Monday night - locals & holidaymakers out for dinner & a few drinks. We were just passing through & managed to order before the kitchen closed at 8.30pm. The waiting staff didn't rush us despite that they were finishing their shift & the people at the next table chatted to us & told us a bit... More

I always pass through Elk on my way to Mendocino, but this time I decided to stay in the little village at the Elk Grove Inn. There food was delicious and the beet salad was the best I ever had. The staff were friendly and all smiles and great service. Thank you for doing it right.

I had a cheeseburger that was 5 star, my wife had shrimp scampi that was also. Great food and service, we almost had to make reservations. There are only 6 or 7 tables, and the place was packed and so was the bar where we had a glass of beer.

This little pub, attached to what looks like a motel, was our refuge on a rainy day in this tiny little town. Because of the rain we really did not want to travel far and expected the usual pub fare, sandwiches, maybe some fish and chips, just the usual things. Imagine our surprise then to get an extraordinary meal, worthy... More

5 of us went for an early dinner at 5:00 p.m. The pub is really cute and well decorated but the food and the service were excellent. The clam chowder and the Calamari appetizer were the best I have ever tasted and would have been plenty to satisfy a healthy appetite but of course we did not stop there, we... More
