This is a good restaurant and has good food and service. I would recommend you get the seafood platter, its very worth it. The bar and restaurant are together so it might be loud when its happy hour. There is a separate seating area for one big table if you want to hold a group dinner. Overall food is good... More

This place is affordable during the noisy (dast I say yuppie?) happy hour sitting in the bar area. Otherwise the prices are very steep for us! It was more than $40 for New York and Filet Mignon. They serve mashed potatoes with the Filet but not the New York. Both came with a vegetable (cauliflower and spinach). You can get... More

Went here for dinner with a friend. The service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We had the artichoke appetizer (My friend is a vegetarian.) and it was ok. (Not much to eat there and a lot of work to get it. Kind of like peeling shrimp or eating crab but with those, the payoff is a whole... More

We had such a great waiter, D (or Dee?). His personality was perfect for a great dinner with a friend (and the filet was excellent).

I was here now the second time. Service was excellent. Better is not possible. I took a prime rib steak which was nice and soft and tasty. The wine recommendation was really good. Dessert was a chocolate cake with ice cream. Even the espresso was hot and good.

I go there often for happy hour only, it can get a bit loud but everyone has a good time. The ribs are the best in town.

I like their Asian Salad and Fish/Salmon Tacos. I am from Japan and picky about freshness and quality of food, especially fish. I normally avoid American food restaurants, please do not take it personally, I just like Asian food in particular Japanese food. But, this restaurant is the place I pick to have dinner with my American friends or when... More

The who's who in Pasadena on a Saturday afternoon. Good food and great chicken and tortilla soup. Nice bar to watch sports and a nice bar menu.

Calimari was good! Artichoke was horrible, mixed salad was INCREDIBLY boring, service was slow, and the salmon dish was disappointing. We spent most of our visit with empty classes and dirty dishes on our table. The staff seemed disorganized and awkward. I got my salmon unaware that it was just a piece of under seasoned salmon over cooked spinach. A... More

I have been to their location in Irvine several times. I had a late flight out of LAX and stopped here for dinner. Their draft beer options are limited but are good choices. I had an Anchor Steam. For dinner, I chose the fish tacos ($20) which were excellent. The two tacos had large pieces of grilled salmon. Ian did... More

Description
At the heart of all great food is fresh, local, peak of the season ingredients. Paul Martin’s aims to take diners back to the farm with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced organic produce, the best of both wild and farmed fish, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors.Surveys show that 78 percent of American consumers value regional and local food for home cooking. Why? For health, taste and to preserve the rural landscape. Embracing this concept, Paul Martin's believes it's their responsibility to carry these values into the restaurant kitchen.
