We stopped in for a quick lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself is tiny, with a short counter and four or five small tables. Our food arrived quickly and our server was very friendly. While the milkshake definitely tasted like artificial strawberry... it was still satisfying (I like artificial strawberry.). Veggie burger was fantastic, and the hot... More

Sylvia who owns & is generally present at Red Onion is a champ in the griddle-food realm. She has good help, and the burgers (especially) are excellent. But it's also easy to get a solid breakfast, and the counter-surfers (there's a crew of regulars) are jovial and help watch over the place. Not talking epic burgers or anything like that... More

My husband had been craving a hamburger and so we decided to stop in after reading postive Yelp reviews about this charming "hole in the wall". This VERY small diner is located on a corner across the street from HomeDepot and under the BART raliway. As you walk in you notice a lot of activity: all the tables and most... More

This location has a lot of years of history under its belt, and doesn't seem to have kept up. Won't go there again. Hamburger was tasty but I've had far better.

I liked the cozy, small atmosphere. It appeared to be run by a family. The prices seemed okay until all of the little add ons. I had a Cheesburger with a turkey patty added to it. I also had a pineapple milkshake (12 oz) and some chili cheese fries. I also bought a Cheeseburger, fries and drink for my employee... More

Good burgers in a tiny hut. This local spot has good burgers, onion rings, fries and shakes. Very old school. Well worth the stop. Grab it to go and enjoy it in the adjacent park.

My favorite place to get a juicy hamburger and onion rings. I first came to this cozy diner with my partner a year ago for a quick hamburger and have been coming regularly ever since. Great friendly family service. Their lettuce wrapped hamburger is fabulous if you are watching the carbs.
