Great food. I love their combination plate. Their shrimp cocktail is terrific. On the weekends they have live Mexican music.

I was working in El Centro and asked the ladies I was working with and the hotel staff which of the Mexican Restaurants they prefer for lunch or dinner. They were each adamant that they eat at Guadalajara.. Having worked in a Mexican restaurant in high school with authentic old country food from the owner family's menus, I am particular.... More

We stopped here because it looked like one of the busier places in El Centro. Perhaps we are not the best judges, as Mexican food is not our favourite. It did not start out well, as the table was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. However, the food was fine and plentiful. Service was a bit slow.

The original restaurant in Calexico was great. In the 90's i used to go there all the time. Then this place opened up and was really good too for about a year but has been steadily been going downhill since

We have been looking for good Mexican here in the desert, and this place met with our standards. Very cute atmosphere and friendly service. It was a little slow, but the food was yummy.

The place looked clean enough and the waitress was certainly friendly enough. Wife's chicken fajitas was ok but very greasy. I had the Guadalajara Steak (Rib Eye). I'm sorry folks, but for a Ribeye, this had to be the worse ever. I ordered it med-rare, received well done which was mostly fat.

Had an enjoyable dinner at this restaurant. Staff was very friendly which hasn't been the case in many El Centro establishments. Food was very tasty. We will return during our temporary stay in this town.

We tried the shrimp, albacore coconut dish - most amazing flavors! This dish is a must-try if you like seafood. Easy access, nice service, bathroom could use a little work, but otherwise nice stop.

The food was good & the service was friendly. As we went early for lunch, it wasn't very crowded, but you could tell they do have the ability to handle lots of people with 2 dining areas & tables that seat 8. Our waitress was very nice & attentive. Not the "best " Mexican food we've ever had, but we... More

The mariscos here are many, and the Coktel De Cameron (large) is absolutely huge and chock full of fresh shrimp. Very tasty! And the Chile Relleno, cheese, a la carte, is very good as well.
