One of the best, if not the best, Dim Sum restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is always busy and the high quality of their food is the reason why. Patrons can fill out a menu order form and/or select dishes passed around the dining area by servers. The selection is huge and the wait staff is very... More

Every time we come here there is always a wait. The food is always good and I leave full every time. However, if you are like me and speak English it can be difficult to communicate with the staff. On our last visit I didn't see steamed rice on the menu so I asked the waiter to add it and... More

On a friend's recommendation we tried Koi Palace for their Dim Sum. We liked it. I would say the various plates seemed a little more elegant and refined compared to other places we have tried. Tip: They only do the carts on the weekend. Weekdays you order what you want. Also l, parking was challenging, I found a spot, behind... More

This is a good place to sample dim sum. The dishes are well prepared. The staff is attentive. They cater to families and children. If you do not see what you want, you can ask the waiters and they can often prepare it. The only downside is that the prices are higher than most dim sum restaurants.

My parents were in the mood for dim sum and I chose Koi Palace because I saw in the reviews that there was normally a wait. We went on a Sunday at around 10:30 expecting to sit down and eat at around 11am. There were probably 10 parties in line before us. We were seated around 11am as I expected.... More

You have to make it here for the Dim Sum! We love rushing over to get ahead of the crowd. Yes! Crowd. This is a popular Tri-Valley eatery. Koi Palace deserves a ton of credit. They're very organized and fair when it comes to seating patrons. We love the staff. They're buttoned up and cordial. I love the servers mask... More

You will receive very fatty duck, and below par dishes, if you don't meet the cultural criteria. Even my Asian friends and acquaintances, said if you don't fit in with their chosen cultural class, you will not be served the best dishes, or mixed drinks. I took Her Grace, here, my first visit. She was in no rush to go... More

We went to Koi Palace in Dublin with a couple of friends on our way to the new premium outlet store in Livermore . Like the original Koi Palace in Daly City, the dum sums were second to none in the SF Bay Area. The Koi Palace in Dublin was more spacious and a lot quieter than the one in... More

We were visiting family members in the area and this is their go-to dim sum establishment. It's packed on weekends. We ordered a variety of items that are easily found in other dim sum eateries but our most memorable dishes were the durian tart (yes, it's pungent), and a special order of lobster yee mein.

We went here on Father's Day and were careful to arrive at least 20 minutes before opening time to get in line. We were able to be seated immediately upon opening, even though we had a party of ten. Instead of opting for the standard dim sum fare, we ate slowly to be able to take advantage of the many... More
