We went there after seeing all the positive reviews. Our family of four was seated at a table set for three, no one bothered to bring extra flatware or napkin after asking, finally we had to just grab from adjacent table. We didn’t get bread...More

This is our "local" small Italian place. Intimate, gourmet quality food, loving service. We take many guests here during the year and they are always impressed.

What a great overall experience! Wait staff was on pointe, food was hot, fresh and delicious, and drinks were amazing. The bartender, I never learned his name, but he was quite the mixologist. For dinner I had tasty sea bass. Perfectly cooked flaky and not...More

I should have seen the warning signs right away: several tables with people but nobody eating anything (at 1:20PM); loud Latin music in the air, one lonely waitress running around, Mexican food items on the menu. But I liked the name (Ponte Vecchio is a...More

Hi Oliver- I think you also visited our sister restaurant. But your timing is off. In your review for the other restaurant you mentioned that you got there at 1. But you were at our restaurant at 1:20. Also, our music is set on Italian...More

Trattoria Ponte Vecchio is a local hidden gem located in the heart of Torrey Pines beach/reserve and south side of beautiful Del Mar. PV serves authentic Italian food with a touch of New York Style flavor. In addition to the daily specials, you will find some amazing signature chicken, seafood, vegan, Gluten free and vegetarian dishes. Don't forget to look at the Calzone and Pizza section of the menu. Our Pizza is prepared in 800 degree oven imported from Italy. Finish your dinner with a nice glass of port, Italian coffee, homemade tiramisu or cannoli.
