We use to come to this restaurant about once a week before we moved to San Clemente. We decided to go back again, to see if it was still the same. I'm glad to say it was. We walked in the door and Emilee was standing there with a big smile. We pointed out where we like to sit, and... More

Great food and plenty of it at a great price. Always a favorite spot when in town. Site of the first Hobie Surf Shop. Lots of memories.

We went here because it was recommended to us by a friend. It didn't disappoint. What a fun place. We were tired so we didn't hang out too long but wanted to try the grilled shrimp tacos that were recommended to us. They were delicious as was everything else. It was loud and crowded, a fun place.

Six people. Six great lunches. Shrimp, chicken, fish, and pork tacos - all had and all good! Especially the shrimp! Ignore that you are sitting beside a highway and just have a beer or margarita:)

and now i remember why. it was just average. their salsa and chips were just ok. this was the first time my husband didn't finish his enchilada combo meal and my flautas were nothing worth a return visit.

They have a huge menu with lots of semi-Mexican choices. Since I was only looking for a snack I tried the shrimp tacos for a late lunch fix. It was just so so, but the service was amiable, so perhaps I'll give it a second chance.

Prices are reasonable and the waitress did a good job. The portions seem huge, (but really just a ton of beans, rice and lettuce). And then there were my Taquitos------burned to a crisp. Yes, actually black. Being on a limited time schedule, I didn't complain and reorder, but cracked them open (literally) and ate the bit of charred chicken that... More

Coming back from Dana Point harbor and looking for some Fish Tacos. Wife used Yelp and had a few choices and decided on Taco Surf. Nice casual vibe on the inside and there was some live music playing which was nice. Reasonable prices and the waitress was very friendly. I order a wet burrito that had fish and chicken. Wife... I'm a local and have been here numerous times. Service, location and vibe are great. Food used to be quite good but has continued to get worse. Guacamole was clearly from a bag - soupy and no taste. Hot wings were not fresh. Tacos were a mess. Felt sick that night. If not improved, I don't be back.

We come for the shrimp tacos - every thing else is overshadowed by their greatness. Actually on the burritos they use a red sauce that tastes right out of a can, from a bad producer, so I would avoid them. But the shrimp tacos are the best you will ever find and worthy of a visit. The mountain of nachos... More
