Let's start with a disclaimer: this was the first time I tried Burmese food and I went on the recommendation of a co-worker. But, wow, is it tasty. Lots of variety on the menu and the things we ordered were all fresh and delicious. The tea leaf salad is a house specialty, and I so very much enjoyed the Burmese... More

There is just too many curry dishes on the menu. Ambience and service is outstanding. This place is tucked in an unassuming part of Daly City, but don't let it deceive you. It is a must dine just for the Burmese food experience.

I had a craving for a rainbow salad and I found this Burmese restaurant close to where I was. The salad was good, but not as spectacular as at another restaurant I SF. I also ordered the chicken empanadas which I found tasty.

Burma Cafe is in a little square where Pacific Supermarket is. They have not really remodeled the square but the inside of Burma Cafe takes you to another place. Dim lighting and nice pillows. The food itself is good and sometimes they have special items/desserts.

Good Burmese food in a little nondescript strip mall. Not the easiest to find location. Food quality is good, nice setting and clean/ pleasant environment. A little on the pricy side as some other reviews pointed out.

We'd never tried Burmese food before and were pleasantly surprised to find this little gem in a strip mall. The kiwi watermelon lemonade was so tasty, the samosa soup was delicious and enough for even 3 or 4 people. The pumpkin curry was a taste delight, better without the cilantro garnish, and the coconut or biriyani rice sides were both... More

I used to love this place because the food is tasty and price is reasonable. However my experience has been totally changed tonight. I went with my 3 year old for dinner, there are some free tables, we were waiting at the entrance for 5 mins and nobody came to take us to the table, finally we have to talk... More

The food was delicious! I would definitely recommend trying it if you are in the area. We had the tea leaf salad which was my favorite.

The outside is very drab and uninviting, but once inside it is very nice. The waitstaff is very helpful and friendly, and the food is great. It is a great 'floor show' to watch the tea leaf salad' and special noodle dishes mixed at your table. Prices are reasonable, about $10 a dish, so go with others to share the... More
