I had a very bad experience at this Restaurant. I was very clear on my Open table reservation what I needed. I was very clear with the Hostess on what I needed and they completely ignored my resquest. I will not be back. Service was...terrible. I also had my reservation for awhile and I think we had the worst table in the whole place. When I called the manager. He could have cared less. He had no customer skills at all and pretty much said, Sorry it was a mistake!!!!! It was a very sad apology.More

We arrived at 4:25 for our 4:30 reservation and proceeded to park near the front door where there were cameras on both sides of our rented vehicle. We were approached at 4:45 and were told that our car was broken into. The security guard took...a break at 4:40 and returned at 4:50 and came back to this break in ( seems extremely fishy to me). How would they know they had to strike within a 10 minute window????? I was told by management that this was a FREQUENT problem at least once a month? I asked about the cameras and was told they were inoperable. This reeks of negligence, since you were aware that this is a problem. Sure take a break but put someone in the parking lot for ten minutes. I am extremely unhappy about this situation as we lost several laptops, Golf accessories, medicine and countless personal items as we were on our way to our hotel. Needless to say NO dinner as it was my Birthday and we had to return our rental for another. Such a nice restaurant to not not care more about the safety of its patrons. Unbelievable! We will NOT be returning and this was a favorite of my wife. MMMore

On april 20 we went to lunch in the restaurant and in its parking lot, some subjects broke the windows of the cars and stole all our luggage. We had no support or apologies from the staff and they didn't seem surprised by the insecurity....We spent two hours waiting for the police and they also charged us the bill. It was a terrible experienceMore

This place is worth a stop in Crockett—and many travelers come here. It was crowded on a Monday afternoon. Famous for seafood, they have snappy service, friendly staff. I came with out-of-town friends from Rhode Island. My crab Louie was almost as good as some...I have prepared at home.Full bar…and some decent wines. I had a chianti. Highly recommended.More

We’ve come to the Dead Fish for years as it was my mother-in-law’s favorite. But I never appreciated it until I ordered their shrimp and muscle seafood skillet. That with clam chowder and/or salad, their bread...it is a perfect meal...so yummy you’ll crave it from...time to time. Sometimes, it’s just about what you try on the menu. Now it is my favorite place to eat. I like their outdoor seating overlooking the water, the old school and relaxed atmosphere and great food, and most of the time good service.More

After 11 months, sure why not, let's go out to dinner for once and celebrate... Made reservations for tonight and showed up to find the hostess sitting there, chin in her hands watching the super bowl at the desk... WITHOUT HER MASK ON. Ok, whatever,...show us to our table. View was amazing, service was prompt. Waiter was dry but whatever, he was good at his job. Food came out almost as soon as we ordered it. Crab cakes were amazing. Crab and prime rib was perfect. Mojito was delicious. Sundae and Cheesecake were out of this world. Other than when they closed the shield on us getting rid of the amazing view, it was a perfect meal. If the meal had ended here, 4stars easy. But then... Walking out, there's that same hostess walking through the restaurant, with her mask under her chin. I motion to her, "The mask works better when it's covering your face" "Excuse me?" "Your mask, you're not wearing it right" As I walk away I hear her, "What the F&*K?" Classy... after 11 months, and the restaurant being closed for 7 of those... really you're confused about wearing a mask? As someone also that's been out of work for months, who's fiancée has been out of work for months... "What the F?" Really? Extremely disappointed that the "face" of your business, the first person you meet when you arrive and the last person you see when you leave, was oblivious to the pandemic we're living in.... Going to call her the Groundhog Day Hostess, because she just caused 6 more months of dining at home...More

This giant restaurant was a go to happy hour haunt when I worked across the river at Cal Maritime Academy. We used to nosh on apps and enjoy some drinks. Several years later I was there for lunch with a friend, and found the food...to be consistently good. Several nights ago, we joined some friends there for dinner. After a slight problem with seating, smoothly corrected by a manager, we were seated at a table with sweeping views of the Carquinez Bridge and straights. Again, the food was great. We shared a cheese garlic bread and a fried artichoke appetizer. Both my wife and I had the Seafood Stew and it was excellent, with crab and gobs of other sea critters. Even the Tiramisu dessert was great. And there is no corkage charge when you bring your own wines.More
