This deli is a small little place (literally) right on Fairview Rd. There's really not much to the decor, but what's impressive about it is the reflection of their community investment...pictures, plaques, and articles of local schools. I love supporting places like that. Anyway, about the sandwiches. Simply made with lots of flavor. My all-time favorite is pastrami! It's served... More

Our family loves this great little sandwich shop! We have been going there for over 30 years - yes, 30. Even thru different management , service remains friendly and efficient. My favorite sandwich is #4, the natural. The wheat bread is fresh and soft. I usually request extra avocado spread yet it's not necessary. They support the community and local... More

"Where do you wanna go for lunch?" LITTLE PICKLE!!! 😄💃 BEST SUBS in Costa Mesa!! We love to TREAT ourselves about once a week here to a #1! "Please, make it a 10" with extra meat!" 😜 Clean dining tables inside and out! Customer "friendly" and reasonable prices! This place has been serving the best subs since the 80's!

I've been coming to the Lil' Pickle since I took summer school classes at Orange Coast in the mid 1970's. The quality has never wavered and they have always been some of the bet subs around. I almost always get the #1 "Lil Pickle Sub" which is ham, salami, capicola and cheese. Also a whole pickle and chips, usually sea... More

Does not live up to the hype. I wonder why this place has such glowing reviews. It's an ordinary dive with run of the mill hot dogs.

Boy, does that make me sound old. :-) This is a little sandwich shop close to Orange Coast College and that's how I found out about it. Their secret is their soft rolls that are steamed for a bit of warmth. They mix meat, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and other ingredients (my favorites are pickle chunks and pepperoncini slices) - and... More

I tried Lil Pickle yesterday after seeing it for many years in the area and reading reviews online to make sure I wasn't going to be disappointed. Tired of the regular fast food in the area my fiance and I decided to give it a go. Boy, was it good! I had the #7, he had the Lotsa Roast Beef.... More

A neighborhood deli since 1962. I had recently heard about this place, and while driving to an appt. I saw it, so stopped for dinner afterwards. Had the lil' pickle sandwich. It was good, great soft bread, and fresh produce. My wife had the turkey Avocado on wheat, and couldn't stop talking about how good the bread was. I thought... More
