The Cafe is nothing more than another Mexican food place in NADO I would not go back to eat there as there is Migule's in Coronado for Mexican foot

Not a nice atmosphere... cramped, dirty, greasy spoon. Lipstick on my coffee cup. We walked down the street past a place called Clayton's that looked much nicer, had a much better menu, and the prices were basically identical so unless you're really a fan of...More

We stumbled upon Night & Day Cafe when the breakfast place recommended by our concierge had a long wait. Lucky us!! This tiny "hole in the wall" had outstanding food, friendly service and the hardest working cook I have ever seen. Portions are huge. We...More

We always eat here when we travel to Coronado. It may be tiny but the staff & food are great. It’s a couple of blocks from the beach and it’s very down to earth with a friendly atmosphere. My husband had their breakfast which was...More

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast and what a treat! It’s super small but we sat at the counter and cook was like watching an artist. Huge portions too. I had the California burrito and it was amazing. Guy next to me had...More

Made a stop here during our stay in Coronado. Food is priced right, portions are large, and staff are super friendly! Place is small, but we would visit again if ever in the area.

Come hungry! Great little diner with a short counter and 3 tables. It gets busy but the staff is on fire so don't be daunted by a crowd. Good diner food and good American style Mex food too.

Description
This is a small diner, that has been in business since 1929, the Esquer family has owned it since 1996, we have 20 seats and the counter surrounds a flat-top grill and vintage hood that was salvaged off a ship more than 100 years old. You watch your found being cooked by one person, depending on what cook you get your food will get to you fast or...not so fast but will always be delicious!. Weekend mornings are the busiest and we are open late, Friday and Saturday Nights till 4am.
