Mediocre at best. There are other restaurants that are MUCH better I ordered a meatball sandwich there were no meatballs. Would not eat there again

Very little ambiance, but the main attraction is the view of downtown San Diego right across the bay. Go there just before sunset. I thought the pizzas were too expensive, but the calzones are huge, tasty and reasonably priced. Good service, good selection of beers....More

Visting friends and they took us to Coronado beach. We decided to have dinner here. Not sure why Tripadvisor lists the cuisine as African, Middle Eastern, Polynesian, Afghani? Italian would be a better description. PROS: --View. Gorgeous at night. -- Heaters for the cold nights...More

Location is lovely overlooking the ferry terminal. Food is good. Had pizza and pasta. Food was just average and a little overpriced for what you got, but not for location. We all left full. If we were in the area and in the mood for...More

The pizza was great, and the staff was friendly. There is inside and outside seating available. This is a popular place right near the ferry, so plan to wait a bit for a table, but the pizza is worth it.

Went two weeks ago and walked in because of the menu they had outside on the wall. Once you go inside the menu isnt the same. At least salad wise. Service was pretty bad, although it was busy. The busboy was good. He ended up...More

We decided to try the Cheese Steak with mushrooms for old times sake having not had one since our J1 Visa summer 20 years ago on the East coast - and it was worth the wait. Very filling and a lovely chess on it. We...More

Came here after a baseball game so the casual no frills establishment fit the bill. Had some Amber beer with wings and pizza. All very good. The only negatives are the lack of a bathroom in the restaurant (have to leave the spot and use...More

We booked a table for 8 people and still had to wait for our seating 30 minutes late. The place was noisy and the food was average for a pizza place . Comparable to the tv advertising pizza places. Service was slow and it was...More

Really enjoyed the Italian chopped salad! This place is a great lunch spot off the ferry! Daughter is fussy and she put away a fresh bowl of pasta! In expensive and friendly staff!

In 2007, we opened our second location, Village Pizzeria Bayside, fittingly located steps from the bay at Coronado's Ferry Landing. Our Bayside location offers the same great menu as The Original with an unbeatable bay front view of Downtown San Diego. Pizzas, calzones, pasta dishes and hoagie sandwiches are made-to-order with authentic ingredients. And our spacious covered patio is perfect for large parties and events.
