We had lunch here on our last day at the Del. We had the Angus burger and the floating french dip. The burger was awesome! The french dip was very tasty but the brisket was not at all what I expected. It was very fatty and was chewy. I am used to brisket that is tender and more lean. I... More

It's a nice spot in the hotel to grab a coffee, pastry, sandwich, drink at the bar etc... It's very casual which is also nice. It does have a good view of the ocean. Service is also solid. We visited multiple times during our stay at the hotel and enjoyed whatever we ordered (lattes, pastries, sandwiches) each time.

The five stars if for a bar, not a restaurant. This is because I liked the bartender and the beer he recommended.

We wanted to watch the presidential debate so decided to watch at Babcock since they have a lot of TV's. Found a seat at a dirty table, we waited along time before the waitress came. Wasn't sure she was going to wipe down the table since we had to tell her to, when she did it was a quick swipe... More

We ate in the bar area while watching the football game. It was a great atmosphere with the views of the ocean. The staff was great, the food was great. A little pricey but not outlandish.

Had a great time one late afternoon at the bar with Nick. He was friendly and made wonderful suggestions. Would have loved to go and eat a meal there.

Although the food was easy, it was so expensive! It was crazy! I ate a 25 dollar burger! Eating lunch was over 150 for four people.

We drove out to Hotel del Coronado to each lunch and see the beach. Beautiful setting with gorgeous palm trees and ocean view. We opted for the Babcock & Story Bakery. Small pizzas (4X10), 1/2 sandwich, Starbucks Americano, bottled water - $64! All was good and even better sitting on the turf, under palm trees looking at the ocean. Took... More
