Wonderful lunch with our staff at candelas on the bay after a Segway tour of Coronado island! Great chips and salsa and wonderful guacamole! Empanadas and tacos al pastor excellent! Great service and of course wonderful margaritas!

After a walk down to ferry landing marketplace, we settled for Mexican food for a change. To our surprise, the Partida Mahi Mahi, Salmon Epazote, and mac and cheese for our daugther were suggested to us by our waiter. They were both great with fresh fish and touch of flavorful grilled and topped with sauces. We were there in the... More

Came for the view and food but was only satisfied with the view... ordered a $30 meal and chicken and shrimp were not even grilled like expected. Service was very slow and not impressed with anything except guacamole and chips.

We didn't eat, we just wanted to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the view of San Diego skyline but boy did we pay for it. $9 for a glass of Chardonnay.

There was a slight slip up with the meal. Things didn't turn out as planned and the manager on staff realized this without us having to comment or complain. The manager made sure things were fixed and we were treated appropriately as guests. He went above and beyond what I would expect in any restaurant, let alone a tourist area.... More

This upscale Mexican resist is located on prime spot for great views of the San Diego skyline. Indoor and outdoor seating are available with plexiglass to shield the wind of the bay. The guacamole is wonderful. The food and view combo is worth the price.

Selected this restaurant while visiting Coronado for the day, mainly for its location and the view. The day was beautiful, just like a postcard. Had the tamarindo margarita, which was amazing. The server was super sweet and attentive. We had the tacos buffet which for the price was not bad plus we just wanted to really have drinks and enjoy... More

Great service, great view! I'm not sure why the guacamole appetizer was so expensive, but my husband declared the fish taco plate the best he had ever had. There were three kinds of fish in them and they were loaded!

Awesome view! Not crowded on a Saturday night (for a reason). Cocktails were not balanced (very sweet). Crab cakes were equivalent to cheap frozen crab cakes from a convenience store and 90% breading. Tortilla soup was subpar.

Thank Rob F
