It was a little chilly that evening but they have pull down plastic curtains that do a pretty good job, and overhead heaters. The pizza was excellent as was the chopped salad.

Good food, good location, good atmosphere and service. Prices where mid-range with salads and pizzas large enough to share. Did not try other Italian dishes, but they looked delicious at other tables

We stopped here on our last day, and with the bigger group we had, we got there just in time. Gets super busy around 11:30. Had a great menu, and the pizza options were pretty endless. Service was great and pizza was amazing. A bit pricey, but that's the area. Will go back.

Great place to tame that hunger -- just be careful that you don't order too much. Our medium salad was more than enough for the two of us - same with the 12" pizza. Bring someone to share the order.

My family and I had lunch at the Village Pizzeria in Coronado. It was a busy restaurant and we had to wait half an hour to get a table. The restaurant had a nice ambience and buzz to it. The walls had some black and white photos. I noted a TV that was switched on to the sports channel. We... More

Decent Hawaiian pizza, thin crust but a bit soggy. Pricey but great service. Nice outside seating area right on Orange Avenue. An easy walk from the Del.

The pizzas are expensive and a little underwhelming. The Sicilian we had was rather dry and un-inspiring. The salad was large, but little more than mountains of spinach. Location is very good however, and service was friendly and attentive.

Fast delivery--- still hot. Tasted good although they did skimp on the toppings. They have a decent menu but after all the SEAFOOD & Mexican on the weekend I really wanted pizza.

We had food as well as pizza. Appetizers were average, as well as their pizza. They did deliver to our room directly which was nice. The delivery guy forgot to bring us plates. Said he had them in the car, did we still want them? We said yes, he never came back. He called 10 minutes later and said he... More

Description
Established in 2002, Coronado's locally owned and family operated Village Pizzeria offers an authentic slice of New York City in the heart of beautiful Coronado, California. Using only the freshest ingredients, Village Pizzeria prides itself on going to great lengths to preserve the integrity of the iconic New York style pie, down to importing authentic New York water to replicate the perfect thin crust dough. Located just a block away from the Pacific Ocean, the restaurant's original Orange Avenue location provides cozy interior dining and ample outdoor seating, allowing guests to enjoy the coastal vibe of the area. Village Pizzeria's second location opened in 2007, just steps away from the bay, boasting a spacious event-ready patio perfect for any family gathering. With nearly 20 pizzas to choose from, Village Pizzeria also delivers a healthy, tailor-made spin on old-school New York pizzeria offerings. Touting four different crust options for each pizza-original NY-style crust, thin crust, Sicilian style, and gluten free-as well as a variety of specialty pizzas such as "The Billy Goat" a white pie with fresh spinach, roasted red peppers, onions, sun dried tomatoes, basil, balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese, as well as "The Islander" with Canadian bacon, pineapple, onions and bell peppers. In addition, the restaurant's menu features a variety of made-to-order salads, pastas, calzones, hoagies and desserts.
