We went to Village Pizzeria for dinner last night, per our son's recommendation. The pizza was delicious! The medium pizza was enormous, the crust was perfection and the amount of toppings was generous. Our waitperson was exceptional. This was a great choice.

This place is what you’d expect - low key pizza for good price. We were staying at the Del and walked over with our daughters. The girls especially loved the garlic knots.

We tried to go to Miguel's 2 nights in a row, but because of their wait, we ended up here. We had tasty meals and exceptionally good service. Thank you!

After a long day cycling, didn't feel like going out, so called them for to-go. Promised ready in 25-30 minutes, and it was. Had the Margherita pizza (not on menu), basically picked 3 toppings: cheese, basil, tomatoes. Tasty when hot, 12", about $15+. Garlic knots...More

We enjoyed sitting outside on the sidewalk cafe watching the passers-by and enjoying the beautiful weather. We had pizza and Caesar salad. Both were very good and large servings.

Worst Chicken Parmigiana we ever had. We should have sent it back as chicken did not look good. It is popular as great location and perhaps the other entrees are good.

After all the other places on the Island had closed for the evening, we were still able to get a few slices to take back to our hotel room. We opted for cheese and it was very good. Thick crust, it you like that. Good...More

Established in 2002, Coronado's locally owned and family operated Village Pizzeria offers an authentic slice of New York City in the heart of beautiful Coronado, California. Using only the freshest ingredients, Village Pizzeria prides itself on going to great lengths to preserve the integrity of the iconic New York style pie, down to importing authentic New York water to replicate the perfect thin crust dough. Located just a block away from the Pacific Ocean, the restaurant's original Orange Avenue location provides cozy interior dining and ample outdoor seating, allowing guests to enjoy the coastal vibe of the area. Village Pizzeria's second location opened in 2007, just steps away from the bay, boasting a spacious event-ready patio perfect for any family gathering. With nearly 20 pizzas to choose from, Village Pizzeria also delivers a healthy, tailor-made spin on old-school New York pizzeria offerings. Touting four different crust options for each pizza-original NY-style crust, thin crust, Sicilian style, and gluten free-as well as a variety of specialty pizzas such as "The Billy Goat" a white pie with fresh spinach, roasted red peppers, onions, sun dried tomatoes, basil, balsamic vinaigrette and goat cheese, as well as "The Islander" with Canadian bacon, pineapple, onions and bell peppers. In addition, the restaurant's menu features a variety of made-to-order salads, pastas, calzones, hoagies and desserts.
