I have not eaten here. But I do buy stuff. Local olive oil, olives, sun dried tomatoes, nuts. There are many different varieties and recipes of olives, plus samples to try. There are even potted olive trees around the building that have labels of the varieties they are. Who needs Italian olive oil?

I am not sure if the spelling is correct but the sandwich which was made famous in New Orleans is alive and well in NorCal. The server suggested I try it on Sourdough bread. They serve it hot or cold. Hot meant toasted, in my case. The bread soaked up the olive oil and juices. It is a different kind... More

...and open late. Staff was friendly in spite of our late evening arrival. Food was fresh. And a great selection of snacks and gourmet olive "goodies"

I stopped there often before going to class to get a good cup of coffee (Red Wagon). I had their sandwich there once and it was good too.

We were traveling south and decided to get something to eat in Corning. If you've ever been to Corning, you know there isn't much to choose from, so we figured we'd try the Olive Pit. I'm goad we did. It's just a cafe, but the food was good. Way better than going to subway, or some drive-thru. They have something... More

We just went for the olive oil and olive tasting. The vinegars were also nice. I loved the blue cheese stuffed olives, they were some of the freshest I have ever had. My son liked the beer olives. They also had great tapenade. We bought a few jars and would return. We didn't eat at the restaurant.

I was really surprised what this place was like. They have bottles and bottles of olives of all kinds. There is a big display of all kinds of olives people can try. They also carry different kind of Nuts and other stuff. I will defiantly go back there again.

We just left here and I'm thinking the food is a rip-off. But first...the store was nice, well-stocked and very pleasant staff. Be aware..everything is extra. We ordered a turkey sandwich with base price $7.49. Then you add extras i.e.: avocado. Chips, potato salad is extra. And there are drinks. Total: $14.00 for one sandwich w/avocado spread, provolone and two... More

Thank you for shopping with us. We are glad you enjoyed our store and that you found our staff members to be pleasant.
