In our first visit here for Dim Sum,(I can't speak of their full lunch or dinner menu) which is the sister to Spanish tapas, there was the usual variety of dumplings and other Chinese tasting bites. It is said it has been under new management for the last year or so and I found the quality good though the variety... More

There aren't many places to eat dim sum in the East Bay, but this is top notch. Get a big group together on a Sunday and taste to your hearts content! The dishes are hot and arrive on a regular basis. All kinds of dumplings, shumai, shrimp balls - we didn't care for the deep fried lobster- it seemed to... More

I have eaten lunch at this restaurant several times. I know that I can get the basic har gow, siu mai, and other standard dim sum dishes. Nothing fancy, nothing standout. Just basic stuff without excitement. For fancy and exciting dim sum you must head to Yank Sing in San Francisco, which has become outrageously expensive.

Just had a dinner at the Imperial Seafood Restaurant. The food and service were average. Pricing also average. Food proportions average. What can I say? Average. Certainly not a terrible place to go but probably much better options for Chinese food especially in East Bay/Oakland.

Two of us had dim sum today and really enjoyed it. The restaurant was decorated for Chinese New Year and all of the servers were in a particularly good mood. We were served hot tea promptly followed by the food carts. Shrimp balls, Sui Mai, shrimp dumplings, sesame balls, and new-to-me fried pork balls. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasty.... More

If I were allowed to submit my own rating, I would say minus 3 stars. On Christmas day, we decided to go the Imperial Seafood Restaurant to celebrate the great day. I should mention a party for four. My wife and myself arrived at the restaurant at around 12:00 pm. Two more guests were on their way to the restaurant... More

My wife and I go here at lunch for Dim Sum. They have many choices. The service is good. The food is excellent. FYI parking close can be a bit of a challenge.

This is probably the best restaurant for dim sum in the city of Concord. We went there at around noon on a Sunday, and there was a brief wait to get a table. Once seated, the food carts and servers carrying trays of food came quickly and regularly. There were plenty of different options presented over the course of our... More

If you don't feel like driving to Chinatown in San Francisco, try the Imperial restaurant in Concord. They start serving at 11:00 on weekdays and you better get there before noon or you'll have to wait for a table. We got there at about 11:20, got a table and were the only non-Asian people in the place. Service is prompt... More

Visited Imperial Dim Sum with the family one morning. I always liked the idea of sitting at a table and having food brought to you to choose from. They had steam carts (steamed pastries), fried carts (fried foods), special trays that has "Chef Specials" like fried chicken wings and roast pork. Everything was good! My son had a blast choosing...
