Located at commerce, we looked for a good stake. the place is a combined with a salsa lessons, these doesn't disturb diner area. We ordered the Steven's steak with backed potatoes. We got a nice soup and some spaghetti Bolognese. The meat was excellent, service very professional.

A friend told me about Steven's. So on my last night in LA I went. It was great. I had New York Strip and shrimp. With French onion soup. The soup was great and the steak and shrimp were even better.

I love visiting CA, because it give me a chance to take a Salsa Dancing lesson and have a great time. Stevens offers Salsa lessons and dancing almost everyday and it is just about 30 mins from LA. The instructors are great and you do not need to have a partner as they rotate the people around. The music is... More

Ordered the porterhouse steak and it was tender, and moist with good portion size. The Steven's steak was tender but not moist enough. The pork chop was a let down because it was overcooked and dry like a piece of cardboard.

We ate here twice during a 3-day visit to the area. Food is terrific and varied, and not just limited to steaks and seafood. Mexican platters and great French Onion soup gratinee are great picks, too! The service is exceptionally attentive and superb, with waiters in traditional formalwear. This restaurant is an area institution, open since 1952 at this location,... More

They treated us like we were doing them a favor! The seating was not as told, it was like we were a bother to them. The food was fair at best, the service was not as told. Do not plan a company event there. Beware.

Traveling in Commerce and stopped into this place. Loved it. I had the Halibut. It was cooked great...while I was waiting, Gabby (our waitress) brought me a small bowl of spaghetti in a meat sauce that was fantastic. Happy Hour Drink prices and complimentary buffet of Chicken wings and Veggies. I am full!

Not striking in its appearance, looks like a bar from the outside, questioned myself if I should go in with my son. I am adventurous and there were cars in the parking lot so why not....Large interior, staff was sharply dressed. Ornate decor, gaudy in same places, bathroom outdated, needs work to match the restaurant appeal. Regarding the food: recommend... More

Stepped back in time to a 50s esque Good Fellas kinda feel. Large mirrors and chandeliers decor with a very extensive large menu. Variety includes prime rib to mexican food to burgers. The starter was French onion soup that was amazing and then each entree includes a "taste" of their spaghetti and homade gravy with was the highlight. The tri... More

Have drove by this dinner house countless times and finally stopped in. Was surprised by the whole experience....service was 5-star, ambiance was lovely and the food exquisite, not to mention a shocking value. Could not believe high quality served at moderately low prices. I will be back, in fact I live 20 miles away (1-2hours in LA traffic) and am... More
