I don't see many people I here anymore. It used to be busy, now just one lady making sundaes. The ice cream box is why I go. Good packaged ice cream, though a little pricey. Years ago, we would go for sundaes for dessert. Now, hard to park, not their fault, it's the location. If I wanted a sundae, I... More

Traveling through and decided to try this local ice cream shop. It was decorated in a cute manner. Asked to sample two flavors. The lady that waited on me wasn't overly pleasant, but just "there". I felt like I was putting her out to ask for samples. I ended up ordering a scoop of butter brickle and caramel cashew in... More

went 1 time, slow service, expensive, small portions of ice cream scoop; go across street to Knudsen's creamery instead.

VERY VERY good locally made ice cream. Get anything flavor and you will love it. The shop is decorated very quaintly, much like an "olde fashioned shoppe" would look. Have fun!

The mocha almond fudge is wonderful. Almonds dipped in Chocolate makes this a special treat. All ice cream is made locally San Leandro! Almond Joy is great as is the fresh bannana!

Loard's is an old fashioned ice cream parlor, complete with pink and white striped upholstery and white wire back chairs. You will feel like you stepped into the set of Back to the Future movie on the small town square. The ice cream is great, the hot fudge is real, and the have powdered malt if you want it. We... I live nearby and go to Loards on special occasions. Great ice cream and goodies with pretty big portions...but I find the prices to be a little overinflated. Still, its a nice place to visit.
