We can't attest to the quality of the meal offerings here, but we can highly recommend the bar for drinks and oysters. They offer fresh West Coast and East Coast oysters, served with a perfect balsamic shallot vinaigrette. They are delicious—we had four different varieties and recommend that you try them all. The offerings change from day to day, as... More

Stick to the drinks and oysters here. We were consistently disappointed with the food at our table of four. Lots of cheap fillers in the seafood dishes that could be considered misleading from the menu description. But, the service was great and the ambiance lively and fun.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. They are dog friendly with a seating area in the breezeway. It was cool outside but the heaters made it quite comfortable and dry under the covered area. From our seats, we could watch the basketball playoff game through the window which was an unexpected bonus! The oysters were very tasty, the... More

We only had oyster shooters and alcohol. My martini was good, I loved the two olives! My buddy is on a bourbon expedition. Not sure what he had but it put a smile on his face. Oysters were a bit small.

We went for lunch based on a recommendation. The seafood was great, as was the service - only disappointment was that there was no more sourdough to have the clamchowder in!

There were so many lunch stops to choose from in the little village-the menu that Flaherty's offered is what drew us in. We sat in the little alleyway which was a fun spot to 'people watch' and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. We had the BBQ oysters....they are cooked and the BIGGEST oysters I've ever had. We also had... More

This seafood restaurant is one of the Carmel restaurants that serves food late. It has an extensive menu of shellfish and fish entrees. It is not a white tablecloth-type of restaurant but its prices are reasonable.

We had dinner here with family last night. It was a perfect dining experience. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the various entrees were all wonderful. From the haddock fish and chips, to the scallops with white beans and pasta with clams - all beautifully served and delicious. Service was excellent....

There were 4 of us for lunch. The serving size of the Monterey Fish Stew and Cioppino were large. The New England clam chowder and oyster stew were the perfect size for lunch. Filling and flavorful but not overwhelming. The clam chowder had lots of clams. Each of the 4 soups/stews was good. Different flavors. I had oyster stew which... More

Description
At Flaherty's...Fish is Everything! We know good seafood, we know how to buy it and we know how to prepare it. Unlike most restaurants (even the best of them) where fish is often a secondary item on the menu...at Flaherty's it's all about seafood. Here, you will experience a small town, comfortable, family atmosphere, where quality ingredients and quality preparation come together with quality service. We also include gluten free items in our menu to provide all of our customers with the best service possible. It's who we are...come and experience seafood like it was meant to be.
