Just great here for many reasons: fast efficient friendly service, fresh delicious sandwiches and wraps and the prices are reasonable for Carmel. Take your treat to the park or beach to enjoy.

Breakfast at Carmel Bakery is a perfect way to wake up your taste buds and start the day. Their cheese pretzel is delicious and cinnamon bun tasty. My wife ordered a macaroon which she said was good. The other baked goods also looked delicious but I could only eat so much.

Each year we visit Carmel we have to stop here for the pastries! ESP the Cannoli. The staff are very cordial and tons of locals are here each morning. They have Deli products too but we always go for ONE thing. It is always busy but moves along quickly.

Divine intervention lead to our stop at Carmel Bakery. After lunch my wife said, "Man, I could really go for an Elephant Ear" (called Crisps in California). Well, sure enough I looked to the right and that's just what they had in the bakery window! And cannoli, caramel apples, bear claws, and on and on. All baked right here. BTW... More

This is a wonderful bakery. Large selection of beautiful and yummy treats. The pecan roll is smothered with caramel covered nuts. Cinnamon roll is rich with a hint after cardamom. Oh and don't skip the coconut macaroons...try one dipped in chocolate. Prices are reasonable and counter service is friendly.

Delicious food! Everything that we tried was very good. Favorites were the breakfast burrito and the brownie. We loved it!

We recently visited carmel for lunch and a day out from San Francisco and enjoyed our experience at this gorgeous bakery. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly as were the lovely staff. The meals were fresh and delicious and beautifully simplistic

Walking past this bakery is like dropping a child in the middle of a toy store. The window is full of pastries, breads and pretzels! Gigantic pretzels! That's what drew me in. For a dessert, we got a brownie, two giant cupcakes and a cheese pretzel. The smells were fabulous. There is plenty to pick! My complaint? There isn't a... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The baked goods looked super tempting! We had a delicious Cuban sandwich and our daughter had the hot dog, both were great. Our friend had a meatball sub which was also good. The desserts unfortunately look better than they taste. The sugar cookies tasted like Stella D'oro, the eclair was not as crispy as... More
