I've gone in this place for many years now. We tend to skip ordering desserts at any of the local restaurants in Carmel after we eat dinner and just head to this place. Johnny the Café manager is a very kind gentleman that is very knowledgeable with what tastes best. They have the best chocolate brownies in town.. Delicious.. Hard... More

I didn't try the food, the ice cream/gelato or any of the coffee varieties, but I had a yummy mango pineapple smoothie -- very tasty! Service was efficient, although there were only two other people being served.

So admittedly there isn't a Peets coffee in Carmel, but there certainly is better than this place. First off, the staff is always surly. I've been here several times and have never been greeted or acknowledged. Then there are the prices, which are high, and the pricing, which is non-existent. Not sure how they get away without posting any of... More

You know it's good because the place is always packed! They have delicious baked goods and desserts. I never met one I didn't like. They also do good lattes, too!

We went early to the park to get parking and delayed breakfast till Noon. The wait was worth it since I had a great breakfast burrito with bacon. I could've gone with the spicy option and enjoyed the mild one. It was worth the 10 minutes it took the young lady to make it. I've attached a photo as well.... More

This place is on the main street and easy to find. It has some very nice looking desserts in the window. The quiche was good and the tea was very tasteful.

My friend and I were on a girls trip and stopped by this place for a nice brunch/breakfast. The place was super cute and right on the main drag in Carmel. The servings were generous and the prices were spot on. We just happened to go at a busy time so we had to wait about 15-20 minutes for our... More

We popped in after a long walk in town and on the beach on a cool and damp Sunday morning. We originally were going to just have a snack but when we saw the smoked salmon croissant sandwich we decided to go for it. Along with a breakfast burrito. Both were great and the service was good. Pastries looked awesome... More

Had breakfast here. Place has more seating than either Carmel Bakery or Carmel Coffee. Also more food other than bakery items. Had a muffin and a rugelach. Must say that both are flawed, muffin seemed to be wheat, which might have contributed to the dense texture, but the rugelach shouldn't be but was also dense, the middle part of the... More
