Great Steakhouse very reasonably priced. Best Prime rib I've ever had !! Tammy was so fun and made our experience so nice. You need to come early because it gets crowded. Crab stuffed mushrooms great starter.

This place has been around for years. Its family owned and the prices are great!! They are well known for their big slabs of prime rib, and seafood selection but the BEST part of this restaurant are the prices!!! They blow the doors off all the competition with very reasonable prices. They also pour a good drink and the service... More

Had a great dinner but the place was not clean. Bathrooms were a mess. Food debris was underfoot. Interior dated. But...food was really good and not expensive.

Known for over 20 years for its generous portions and mid-range pricing, KoKo Beach fills a need for affordable family food in a town littered with high end restaurants. The menu has what people enjoy eating from sandwiches to burgers to full dinners. The restaurant stays open late but is busiest in the early evening. I normally have the Prime... More

I have eaten here often over the years. Sometimes the food is better than at other times, but there is always a lot of food and the service is good. This has always been a local's hangout, especially at the bar with the televisions. Of course during tourist months everyone eats there. I usually eat the steaks or lobster. The... More

This is the type of restaurant we call OP, which stands for Old People. In other words, Old People (i.e., our parents) would have liked it. Straight American, mostly beef, and all bland. I played it safe and got prime rib, which was fine. My wife did not play it safe, ordered crabs, and was disappointed. Service mediocre

We've visited Carlsbad every year for last 5 years but never eaten at KoKo Beach. We got a recommendation from a stranger who eats here every time they visit. Menu is good, so is food and service. Everything from thick clam chowder to salads, sandwiches, prime rib, and seafood. We eaten there twice this trip and the food was excellent.... More

We met Maria the bartender at the KOKO. It is a scene out of 1970. Red leather booths, fireplace burning in the corner. Warm and cozy! Great martinis and a fabulous steak with fries.
