Alight with conversation and atmosphere, excellent cocktails, and superior service. The Clam Chowder and Clams Linguine are too-die-for. We were never wont for service, the prices, overall, reasonable for the quality. A definite MUST if you are in the area.

King's Seafood (they say they have their own fleet of fishing boats) was an excellent place for dinner or lunch. The Carlsbad location was the nearest for us, only a mile or so away. The one-sheet menu was a tall one; lots of selections for main dishes, good Clam Chowder as well. The usual style was to order an entree,... More

Enjoyed a nice family meal on a busy weekend evening. Service was prompt and available when needed. Food well prepared and presented. Sourdough bread is always the best! Always a pleasant dining experience!

My dinner of small plates started with a Caesar salad, followed by a bowl of miso soup, and finally a plate of ahi poke which was attractively arranged. Since I'm not fond of spicy flavors, the poke sauce was served on the side. Truly irresistible was the very warm, freshly baked sourdough bread. I would have had more, but had... More

This is a good all round seafood restaurant. The service was fast and friendly and the food was very good. They have the widest range of oysters that I have ever seen. A tad pricey but this is Southern California. Good place.

We really like coming to this restaurant and eating in the bar. We like the bar because it is a little livelier in "people watching" and music, although the patio and main dining area are fine, too. Many times you can get a seat in the bar (nice booths!) when the main room is full. Call ahead if you want... More

We were on spring break and met up with seven other fellow educators from Arizona. The reviews looked good and Kings Fish House was centrally located. I had the Macadamia coated Halibut. It was a bit dry and the flavor of the fish was not as sweet as I am use to. For the price I would have expected that... More

We were staying at the Hilton Marbrisa resort and looking for seafood options close to the hotel. Kings fit the bill so we decided to give it a try. Kings accepts reservations online so booking was easy and we didn't have to wait for a table when we got to the restaurant. We sat outside which was nice, except they... More

Terrible service the first time we visited, but it was very crowded so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. The second time, the restaurant was almost empty and we got lots of attention. But somehow they still couldn't get food to the table before it was cold. The plates were cold, and fish and vegetables were luke warm.... More

Stopped by after a day of shopping and found the food to be good, not great but a huge variety of seafood lovers. Plenty to eat per person, nice craft beers an d great service.
